This book provides an up-to-date overview and pastoral care regarding the issue of gender dysphoria which keeps emerging categorically. Gender dysphoria can be defined as identity conflicts related to the incongruence of one's biological characteristics and gender identity. The authors approach the expansion of gender identity among young people in the United States - and in other parts of the world - through a descriptive-analytical sociological and psychological approach. The issue of emerging gender identities must be understood as more than just a biological problem, but also a multiplex one. Yarhouse and Sadusky give Christian readers a complete perspective on the pros and cons of the issue of emerging gender identities in the first part and provide servants and parents with the best approach to dealing with this issue from the perspective of evangelical theologians in the second part of their book.
